About Me...
I have worked as a health care journalist for more than 20 years, writing for a professional audience of physicians, health care executives, and regulators. My favorite articles dig into the complexities of policy issues or put a personal face on clinical challenges. I also enjoy working with physicians to help share their expertise and insights.
For the first decade of my career, I was a reporter, covering pivotal health policy debates such as passage of the Affordable Care Act. Later, I served as editor of Ob.Gyn. News, Hematology News, and was an executive editor at MDedge News.
In 2020, I shifted my focus back to writing full-time and launched my freelance business. It has given me a chance to learn about advances in cellular therapies for multiple myeloma, how the US Food and Drug Administration is grappling with the use of real-world evidence in regulatory submissions, trust issues around vaccination, and much more.
